BrokeTail is not only a rescue, but a sanctuary as well. We rescue certain dogs that are unable to be adopted out for various reasons. Some of these reasons include serious medical or behavioral issues. Many are simply extremely elderly. Find out more ways to help below!
Do you want to help the dogs in your community but do not have the resources to adopt a dog?
Then the BrokeTail Sponsor A Sanctuary Dog Program is for you!
How it Works: Simply choose a dog you would like to help support. You can help support this dog by making a monthly donation. The donation can monetary, an item off our Amazon Wishlist, or an item of your choosing! We will send you monthly updates and pictures of the dog you choose to sponsor. We appreciate any and all donations.
What You Are Helping: The Sponsor A Sanctuary Dog Program helps us continue supporting and rescuing dogs that are unable to be adopted out. Many dogs we rescue knowing we will not be able to find them homes. These dogs stay at our sanctuary and receive lots of love and care into their final days.
Additional Information: You are able to make any amount and type of contribution to support our sanctuary dogs. Dogs are able to have more than one sponsor and you are able sponsor more than one dog.
Not only are you benefiting an elderly animal, but your sponsorship is also tax deductible because of BrokeTail's status as a 501(c)3, non-profit!
We are extremely grateful to every one of our sponsors!

Meet Odie! He is a fourteen year old, Australian Shepard with severe arthritis. He came into our sanctuary about six months ago after being surrendered to a local shelter by his family. Odie loves tennis balls, soft beds, being brushed, and playing dress up as you can see from the picture! Odie would love to be sponsored by you!
