About Us
We are an amazing team of volunteers who are committed to helping the animals in our community. We focus on the animals deemed "broke". This includes the animals that are sick, injured, pregnant, shy, or elderly. We take action to help these animals heal so they can be adopted into loving homes. Our History
BrokeTail Rescue originated out of a fierce passion to help the most vulnerable of animals, specifically dogs. We wanted to make a change in our community and do something to help the world. In 2014, we started out fostering for another local rescue and learned the necessary skills to operate a rescue. In 2018, we decided to start our own rescue, and thus BrokeTail Rescue and Sanctuary was born. Rescuing dogs is a tough yet extremely rewarding task. There is nothing better than making both human and canine lives whole by connecting them with each other.

We are focused on making the most positive effort in helping animals. Our members and volunteers provide the momentum that helps us operate. With the help of our donors, followers, and volunteers, we are able make long-lasting differences with the animals in our community.
